Channel 4 in the UK screened the 'live' television advertisement at 8.10 pm during an episode of its reality show Come Dine With Me.
A team of skydivers had just three minutes and 20 seconds to spell out the brand name Honda in a series of formations over Madrid. Talk about pressure!
The live ad reinforced Honda's 'Difficult is Worth Doing' positioning and generated heaps of coverage pre and post event.
The Guardian.co.uk reported that the advert was "part of a wider drive by broadcasters to maintain the relevance of TV advertising in the era of fast-forward".
