Are You Van Halen...or Rat Salad?

Before Van Halen called themselves, well, Van Halen, one of the names they were toying with was RAT SALAD. 

Interesting turn of events...they must have sobered up before making a commitment! 

Not sure that Rat Salad would have sold as many records as Van Halen, but hey, it's only rock and roll (and I like it!).
