Well, the manuscript for my book microDOMINATION has been delivered, the edits have lovingly been made and I've just finished reading the typeset proofs.
Today I gave a presentation to the sales team at Wiley, who are publishing the book (full title - microDOMINATION: How to leverage social media and content marketing to build a mini-business empire around your personal brand).
It's all kind of real now!
microDOMINATION will be released early in April, so my head is now turning towards the marketing side of things.
For example, shortly I will be launching a blog focusing on the four cornerstone themes of becoming a 'micro maven', which is essentially what the book is all about. The micro maven is a new breed of entrepreneur who is creative and connected, prolific and passionate, socially savvy and community-minded.
The four cornerstone themes are:
- developing your platform,
- building your brand,
- growing your business, and
- living your dream.
I'll be 'sneaking' more details out about the book in coming months - stay tuned :)
